Short answer: none of the big names. NordVPN, Surfshark, ExpressVPN and Proton VPN sell subscriptions, and Windscribe retired its lifetime plan. Lifetime plans today come from smaller providers, often through deal sites. Here is where each one stands, checked in October 2026.

ProviderLifetime plan on sale? What they offer instead
NordVPNNoMulti-year subscriptions that renew
SurfsharkNoSubscriptions; the longest official term is 2 years
ExpressVPNNoSubscriptions; the longest promotional term is about 28 months, then annual renewal
Proton VPNNo regular planSubscriptions; a few lifetime accounts are given as fundraiser prizes
WindscribeNo longerSold Pro Lifetime in 2017–2018, still honours those accounts
FastestVPNYesLifetime plan on its own pricing page
KeepSolid VPN UnlimitedYes, via deal sitesLifetime subscription sold through StackSocial and similar stores
Lifetime Premium VPNYes$27.99 one-time App Store purchase (iPhone and iPad) covering the Germany and Finland servers

Prices and plans change often, especially around sales. Check the provider’s own checkout page before you buy.

Does NordVPN have a lifetime plan?

No. NordVPN sells monthly, yearly and multi-year subscriptions, and its own blog argues against lifetime VPNs (“Why you should avoid a lifetime VPN subscription”). “Lifetime NordVPN” listings on reseller or key sites do not come from NordVPN.

Does Surfshark have a lifetime plan?

No. Surfshark’s longest official plan is two years, sometimes with bonus months during sales. Its blog also recommends avoiding lifetime VPN subscriptions. Three-year “Surfshark” bundles appear on third-party deal stores, not on Surfshark’s site.

Does ExpressVPN have a lifetime plan?

No. ExpressVPN’s longest term is a promotional plan of around two years, billed upfront, that renews at the yearly price.

Does Proton VPN have a lifetime plan?

Not one you can buy. Proton sells monthly, yearly and two-year plans. TechRadar reported that Proton gives a handful of lifetime accounts as prizes in its yearly fundraiser, and that existing lifetime holders keep receiving new features.

Does Windscribe still sell a lifetime plan?

No. Windscribe sold “Pro Lifetime” accounts for $30–$49 through partners such as StackSocial in 2017 and 2018. In a September 2026 post it says it retired the plan, no longer sells new ones, and still honours the original accounts.

Which VPNs do sell lifetime plans?

  • FastestVPN lists a lifetime plan on its own pricing page and is also sold on deal sites.
  • KeepSolid VPN Unlimited sells its lifetime subscription through deal stores such as StackSocial; its own pricing page lists monthly, yearly and three-year plans.
  • Lifetime Premium VPN (this site) is a paid iPhone and iPad app: you pay once on the App Store and keep the Germany and Finland servers for good. More countries are an optional subscription. No account, no ads, no-logs policy.

Lifetime plans have a real downside: when a provider is sold or runs out of money, lifetime users are the first to lose out. VPNSecure ended all lifetime plans in April 2025 after a change of ownership. Before paying once, read our checklist: is a lifetime VPN worth it?
